DNS Proxy configuration
Activate the DNS proxy and enter the login credentials, which are as follows: » Login: enter admin and press Enter. » Password: enter dnsproxy and press Enter to confirm. NOTE: The password is not displayed because Linux hides it.
A list of tasks to be performed to configure and test the virtual machine will be displayed. Proceed as follows: » If you want to change the system name, type 1 and press Enter to confirm. Type "y" and type the name you want to use. » Type 2 to change the network settings: » Network Name: you can press Enter to use the default interface name (CloudBox) or choose a new one and press Enter. » IP Address: enter the free private IP you want to assign to the DNS proxy Ethernet interface. » Subnet: you can press Enter to use the default subnet mask (255.255.255.0) or choose a new one and press Enter. » Network: enter the IP of the network, then press Enter. NOTE: If you have, for example, the network 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.255.0, the network will be 192.168.1.0. » Gateway: Type in the network gateway and press Enter. » MTU: You can leave the default MTU value (1500) or choose a different one. Then press Enter.
»Type T to perform some ping tests. Enter a domain, such as www.google.com, and press Enter. If it works, you can continue, otherwise check the network settings (step 2). » Enter 3 and press Enter to configure it:
» Enter user name: type the e-mail/filter user name. Press Enter to confirm. IMPORTANT: If you cannot type the @ symbol, you can use ALT + 64 (the left ALT on your keyboard).
» Enter the password: type in the filter password and press Enter. If everything is correct, you should see the word GOOD next to Status. If yes, you can continue to the next step; if not, try to verify the credentials and try again. » Enter Y to confirm and then restart the system using the R character.
» The DNS Proxy has been configured correctly and is now ready for operation.

After restarting the DNS proxy will automatically update to the latest version available, if it does not update go to the admin menu and restart the service by typing B and confirm. The operation may take a few minutes, if the problem persists contact technical support.
