1. To quickly solve the problem, carefully read the guide that shows the error code:

1.1 Error: code 100

This error means that the client cannot connect to Windows services. The Internet Protection Service may be disabled or blocked due to incompatibility with other programs. If there is a problem, the service will be restarted automatically every minute.

Troubleshooting: To manually restart the service, proceed as follows: 1. Go to "Start" > "Run" > "Services.msc" (run it as administrator). 2. Locate "Internet Protection Service" in the list of services. 3. Right-click on the name of the service and then "Restart". 4. Check the status in the right-hand column.

1.2 API Connection Failed

ClientShield fails to establish a connection to our Internect Protection infrastructure. If the connection to our API has failed multiple times, ClientShield will block the VPN tunnel because of this failure. This problem may be caused by an unstable Internet connection or a wrong network configuration.

1.3 Failed SSL Trust

ClientShield fails to establish a secure connection with our Internect Protection infrastructure. » Once the Prompt is open, type "telnet 185.236.104.104 1194" (test it for "185.236.105.105" as well). » VerifyProblem Solving: Check whether port 443 is allowed outbound to "185.236.106.106" in this way: 1. ClientShield detected that outgoing port 443 to "185.236.106.106" is closed.

Troubleshooting: Check whether port 443 is allowed to "185.236.106.106." 1. Go to "Start" > "Run" and type "cmd." 2. Once the prompt opens, type "telnet 185.236.106.106 443" and press "Enter." 3. Check if the connection is rejected, accepted, or if there is a timeout. 4. If the connection is rejected, port 443 is blocked, possibly due to a wrong network configuration or third-party software blocking port 443 in the PC.

1.5 Door 1194 Closed

ClientShield has detected that outgoing port 1194 to 185.236.104.104 or 185.236.105.105 is closed. This problem could be caused by a firewall in the network blocking that port. Troubleshooting: Check whether port 1194 is allowed outbound to "185.236.104.104" and "185.236.105.105." Check the following steps: 1. Go to "Start" > "Run" > and type "cmd". icate if the connection is rejected, accepted or if there is a timeout. 4. If the connection is "refused," the 1194 port is blocked, possibly due to incorrect network configuration or third-party software. Domain resolution failed: ClientShield fails to resolve domains correctly. Make sure the PC has configured a valid DNS server by checking the PC's "TCP/IP" settings.
