## To activate the Cloud filter

If you have *not yet registered for the service* you can do so by clicking on the following link\:
Connect to the control panel by entering the IP address of the Linksys in the address bar of any Browser.
Then **log** in by *entering your credentials*.
First you need to *configure the DNS of the device*. To do this, open the \[**Connectivity**] menu and then click on \[**Internet Settings**].

Then click on the \[**Edit**] item next to *Type of Internet Connection* and choose the *connection mode of your connection*.
**PLEASE NOTE**: In this example, Static IP mode will be used. Should you wish to use, for example, *Automatic Configuration - DHCP*, then you would need to configure our DNS on the network's DHCP Server.

Fill in the various fields as follows:

- **Internet IPv4 address**: Enter your *Static Public IP*.
- **Subnet mask**: Enter the network mask of your connection.
- **Default gateway**: Enter the *IP of the default gateway* (usually the IP of the Router).
- **DNS 1**: Enter the *IP 185.236.104.104*.
- **DNS 2 (optional)**: Enter the IP *185.236.105.105*.
- **DNS 3 (optional)**: Leave the field blank.

Click on the \[**Ok**] button to save the changes.

Then open the \[**Connectivity**] menu and click on \[**Local Network**].
Check **Enabled** next to **DHCP Server**, to enable the service, and then configure it with the parameters of your network.
Then enter the following *IPs in the Static DNS 1 and Static DNS 2 fields*, respectively:

- *185.236.105.105*

Finally, click \[**Ok**] to activate the service.
