- **Extract the file** you just downloaded.
-
**Transfer DnsProxy\_Proxmox.vma.gz to the Proxmox datastore** you wish to use to restore the virtual machine, for example, using Filezilla.
-
**Connect to the Proxmox SSH console**, using, for example, Putty, and move to the directory that contains the file you just uploaded.
-
**Type qmrestore DnsProxy\_Proxmox.vma.gz ID\_VM**, where **ID\_VM is the ID** you wish to assign to the new virtual machine.
-
Wait for the **restore process** to complete and then log on to the **Proxmox Web console**.
-
You should see the **new virtual machine named DnsProxy**.
-
Click on the virtual machine and open the **Hardware menu**.
-
Check the **hardware configuration** and, if everything is correct, turn on the **new virtual machine**.
