overview if you have not yet registered for the service, you can do so by visiting our registration page connect to the control panel by entering the ip address of the linksys device in the address bar of any browser then, log in by entering your administrative credentials configure the device dns first, you need to configure the dns of the device to do this, open the connectivity menu and then click on internet settings click on the edit item next to type of internet connection and choose the connection mode of your network please note that in this example, the static ip mode will be used should you wish to use the automatic configuration dhcp mode, you would need to configure our dns directly on your network dhcp server instead fill in the various fields exactly as follows internet ipv4 address enter your static public ip subnet mask enter the network mask of your connection default gateway enter the ip of the default gateway, which is usually the local ip of the router dns 1 enter the primary cloud ip 185 236 104 104 dns 2 optional enter the secondary cloud ip 185 236 105 105 dns 3 optional leave this field completely blank click on the ok button to save the changes configure dynamic dns service to configure the dynamic dns service, open the security menu and then click on apps and gaming select dyn com from the drop down menu next to the select a provider item, and configure the service as follows username enter the specific username assigned to your dynamic network inside our dashboard do not use your main registration email password enter the specific password assigned to your dynamic network host name enter the exact address ddns flashstart com finally, click update to make the changes active enable the dhcp server at this point, you can enable the dhcp server so that it automatically assigns network parameters, including our filtered dns, to the various internal devices open the connectivity menu and click on local network check the enabled box next to dhcp server to enable the service, and then configure it with the specific parameters of your local network next, enter the following cloud addresses in the static dns fields static dns 1 enter the address 185 236 104 104 static dns 2 enter the address 185 236 105 105 finally, click ok to activate the service and distribute the new settings alternatively, the dns settings of the various devices within the network can be changed manually one by one
