## Overview

The **Malware** module is the first line of defense for your network. Upon creating a Standard Policy, you are redirected here by default. This section focuses on blocking active security threats rather than managing content permissions.

## Interface Overview

The dashboard is organized into two main navigation areas to help you manage your security policy:

- **Left Sidebar:** Lists the specific security modules (e.g., *Malware & Threats*, *Newly Registered Domains*).
- **Main Panel:** Displays the specific protection rules contained within the selected group, along with their control toggles.

You may notice a** Clock Icon** next to each category toggle. This feature is designed to set time-based restrictions, allowing you to define specific time windows when the protection should be active.

## Understanding the Modules

Different modules offer different levels of protection. Use this guide to decide which ones to enable.

| ### Modules | ### Focus & Description |
| ---------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Malware & Threats** | Blocks confirmed threats like Ransomware, Phishing, Botnets, and Trojans. |
| **Malware & Threats Community** | Crowd-sourced lists. Broader protection but higher risk of **False Positives**. |
| **Newly Registered Domains** | Blocks domains registered in the last 24-48h to stop "Zero-Day" attacks. Trade-off: Might block legitimate new sites. |
| **Proxy Bypass Filters** | Blocks Anonymizers and VPNs used to bypass your restrictions. |
| **Frauds and Dangerous Site** | Blocks websites associated with online scams, fraudulent activities, and deceptive practices designed to trick users. |

### Configuration & Logic

The filtering logic works with simple toggles:

- **Toggle ON (****):** The protection is **ACTIVE**.
- **Toggle OFF (****Grey****):** The protection is **DISABLED**.
- **Enable All / Disable All:** Located at the bottom-right of the panel. Checking this box instantly activates **all protection categories** in the current group.

**Troubleshooting: **If a safe site is blocked, do not disable the protection. Add the domain to your **Exceptions (Allow List) **instead.
