## Overview

This panel allows you to register a new physical location (e.g., an office or branch) into the system. By defining the IP address here, you authorize the platform to accept and filter DNS traffic originating from that specific source.

## Interface Overview

Fill in the fields to identify your connection.

| Interface Element | Description & Focus                                                                                                                                             |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Network name**  | Enter a name to identify this location internally (e.g., *"Headquarters"*, *"Milan Office"*). This name will appear in your reports and logs.                   |
| **IP address**    | Enter the **Public IPv4 Address** of your internet connection. This must be the external IP provided by your ISP, not your local network IP (like 192.168.x.x). |
| **Note**          | Use this field to add internal comments, such as the ISP name, the contract number, or the physical address of the location.                                    |

## Automatic IP Detection

If you are currently connected to the network you want to protect (e.g., you are physically in the office you are configuring), you can use the helper link:

- **"Use my public IP":** Click this blue link located below the IP address field. The system will automatically detect your current public IP and fill in the field for you, preventing typing errors.

## Finalizing the Setup

Once the information is entered, click the blue **Add** button. The window will close, and your new network will appear in the **Static IPs** list.

After clicking "Add", the network is created. Please check the main list to ensure the correct Policy is assigned to this new location. If you need to change the protection rules, click the Pencil Icon next to the network name in the dashboard.
