Apple natively offers DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) or DNS-over-TLS (DoT) configuration directly in the operating system.

This tutorial will guide step by step through the configuration of DoT on macOS. DoT allows you to encrypt DNS resolution information via TCP protocol, providing greater privacy of DNS queries both in the local network and over the Internet.


Here's how to proceed:

1. Download the provider profile of your choice from GitHub and open it.
2. Go to: Apple > System Settings > In the sidebar, click on: Privacy and Security > On the right, click on: Profiles.
NOTE: You may be asked to enter your password or other information during installation.
3. In the "Downloaded" section, double-click the profile.
4. Check the contents of the profile and, if it is correct, click on: Continue > Install or Sign up.
5. You can check installed profiles at any time through:
Apple > System Settings > In the sidebar, click on: Privacy and Security > On the right, click on: Profiles.

From here, you can select the desired profile to view its information. Now you are ready for safer and more secure browsing on macOS!
