Next, the panel will show the list of profiles (Step 1) and, for each of them, the corresponding key (Step 2). Choose the profile to use and click on the symbol to the right of the key to copy it. NOTE: The key will be unique for each profile. Finally, download the Client by clicking on Download (Step 3).

Double-click the file (Setup.msi) you just downloaded and proceed with the installation.

For CLientShield 1.2.0.0 users. Internet Protection Client v2.0.0.0 is backward compatible with ClientShield v1.2.0.0, you can remove 1.2.0.0 without losing your registration You have to uninstall ClientShield 1.2.0.0 to install Internet Protection Client 2.0.0.0.

5. Configuration

Once the installation is complete, a new window should open automatically. If not, double-click on the FlashStart Client icon in the Desktop. Fill in the fields as follows: » Profile Key: Paste the alphanumeric key copied earlier from the CLIENT SHIELD ROAMING menu. » Description (optional): Leave the default value (PC name) or enter one of your choice. This name will appear later on the Cloud panel in the Clients section. Finally, click on [Register] to connect the device with our servers. If everything has been configured correctly the Security enabled item should appear. It is now possible to close the window since the service will continue to run in the background. NOTE: The Client will update automatically when a new version is available. At this point the Filter has been properly enabled on the PC. The Client will automatically forward all DNS requests to our IPs so no further changes need to be applied.
