Zyxel/Zywall configuration

overview if you have not yet registered for the service, you can do so by visiting our registration page connect to the control panel by entering the ip address of the zyxel or zywall router in the address bar of any browser then, log in by entering your administrative credentials configure the device dns first, you need to configure the dns of the device click on the gear icon on the left and then open the network menu next, go to wan look for the wan dns assignment item and select user defined from the drop down menu then enter the following cloud addresses in the first dns server and second dns server fields respectively first dns server 185 236 104 104 second dns server 185 236 105 105 configure dynamic dns service at this point, you need to activate and configure the dynamic dns service click on the network menu and then on ddns put a check mark on enable dynamic dns to enable the service, and configure the various fields exactly as follows service provider choose www dyndns org as the service host name enter any name you like for this field, for example, the word filter username enter the specific username assigned to your dynamic network inside our dashboard do not use your main registration email password enter the specific password assigned to your dynamic network click apply to save the changes it is absolutely not necessary to register for the dyndns service our system will still work perfectly since the filter automatically redirects the update request to itself enable the dhcp server at this point, you can configure the dhcp server to automatically assign network parameters, including our filtered dns, to the various internal devices to do this, click on the network menu and then on dhcp server enable the service by putting a check mark on the enable dhcp server item enter the first ip of your local range in the initial ip pool address field and the total number of addresses to be assigned within the pool size field then click on the apply button to save next, open the advanced tab and look for the dns server item select the user defined item and enter the following dns addresses within the first dns server and second dns server fields respectively first dns server 185 236 104 104 second dns server 185 236 105 105 alternatively, it is possible to set the local ip address of the zyxel or zywall router as the only dns in your dhcp settings this way, the clients will use the dns set on the router, which is already configured to point to our cloud servers finally, click apply to keep the changes as a last option, it is also possible to manually set our dns addresses or the local device ip on the internal network clients one by one
