Create Block Page
Navigate to the sidebar menu: Protection > Block Page and click on + Create Block Page.
Overview
The creation wizard allows you to define the name and core behavior of your new stop page. This initial screen determines whether you will host a custom layout directly on the platform or redirect blocked traffic elsewhere.
Configuration Options
When opening the Create block page module, you must complete the following fields. The required parameters will change dynamically based on the type of page you choose to create:
Element | Description & Focus |
|---|---|
Name | Enter a clear identification name for your page (e.g., School block page). This name will be used to recognize the template within the main dashboard. |
Type Selection | Choose the core behavior of your block page by selecting one of the two main options: • Show block page: Hosts a fully customizable layout directly on FlashStart's servers. • External redirect: Forwards blocked users to an external URL. |
Starting template | (Appears only if "Show block page" is selected). Choose an existing, previously created template from the drop-down list to duplicate its design, or select None (start from scratch) to open a blank canvas in the visual editor. |
URL | (Appears only if "External redirect" is selected). Enter the exact, complete web address where blocked users should be redirected (e.g., https://blockpage.yourcompany.com). |
Completion & Next Steps
After configuring the conditional fields based on your selected type, the Create button will become active. Click it to proceed:
