Fritz!Box configuration
If you have not yet registered for the service you can do so by clicking on the following link: Register here. Connect to the control panel by entering the IP address of the TP-Link in the address bar of any Browser. Then log in by entering your credentials. Open the [Internet] menu then go to [Access Data]. Finally, click on the [DNS Server] tab on the right. Check Use other DNSv4 servers to manually set the DNS of the device. Enter the following DNSs in the Favorite DNSv4 Server and Alternate DNSv4 Server' fields, respectively: » 185.236.104.104 » 185.236.105.105
To configure Dynamic DNS service click on [Enablements] in the [Internet] menu. Open the [DynDNS] tab and put a check mark on Use DynDNS. Then fill in the various fields as follows: » DynDNS Provider: Choose User Defined. » Update URL: Paste the following instruction: PLEASE NOTE: Replace the USER and PASS entries as follows: » USER - email/user name registered on the Cloud. » PASS - registration password, received via email). » Domain Name: Type in https://ddns.flashstart.com. » Username: Enter the previously registered username or email. » Password: Enter your password. Click the [Apply] button to make changes to the configuration.
At this point you can configure the DHCP Server to automatically assign network parameters, including our DNS, to the various internal devices. To do this click on the [Home Network] menu and then on [Home Network Scheme]. Then open the [Network Settings] menu, on the right. Scroll down the page and look for the IP Addresses item. Then click on the [IPv4 Addresses] button.
Enable the service by checking Enable DHCP server and configure it as follows: » From: Enter the first IP in the range. » To: Enter the last IP in the range. » Validity: Choose the validity duration of the addresses assigned by DHCP (in days). » Local DNS Server: Enter the IP of the Fritzbox device as the only DNS. Finally, click [OK] to apply the changes.
