navigate to the sidebar menu docid 5vkvzyeveco0n cz4p54q > policies overview overview the policy section serves as the central hub for your network's security logic here, you can create and manage customized security profiles that bundle your filtering rules into single, deployable objects this dashboard provides a clear view of all your active configurations, allowing you to easily apply specific protection standards to any of your networks policies the core security profiles policies are the heart of your filtering system a policy is a container that bundles all your filtering rules (malware, content, geoblocking, etc ) into a single object instead of configuring every network individually, you create a policy (e g , "guest wi fi" or "office staff") and assign it to as many networks as needed standard policies fully customizable profiles where you control every security layer at the top of the page, you will find the primary tools for interacting with your policies interface element interface element focus & description search bar search bar located at the top left use this to filter policies by name + add policy + add policy the blue button (top right) click here to create a new policy policy list details the main grid displays the specific details for every configured policy interface element interface element focus & description name name the identifier assigned to the policy type type indicates the strictness level ( standard or restricted ) shared shared indicates if the policy is available to other linked organizations or sub tenants associated networks associated networks shows how many networks are currently using this policy actions actions use the pencil icon to edit and the trash icon to delete initialize creation click the + add policy + add policy button in the top right corner a configuration panel will open for a step by step explanation on how to fill out this panel (name, type, and shared settings) and complete the initial setup, please refer to our dedicated guide docid\ dmjo22v5b1uerxelzq3qa accessing the configuration dashboard once the policy is created, you must open it to view or modify its rules locate your policy in the main list click directly on the policy name (e g , "first configuration ") the dashboard that opens next depends on the type assigned to the policy if the policy is "standard" standard policies allow you to fully customize every aspect of the protection, including malware, content filtering, and geoblocking if the policy is "restricted" restricted policies are pre configured profiles where the core security rules are locked to ensure consistent protection the interface will differ as modification options are limited to understand the interface structure and the available modules for both policy types, please refer to the main configuration docid\ xdnrpistdejmwzdldpqgy
