Policy Mapping
Navigate to the sidebar menu: Deployments > Cloud Box and ensure you are on the Policy Mapping tab.
Overview
The Policy Mapping section allows you to link a specific policy with one or more elements on your internal network. You decide which network element to link to a specific policy, and the system automatically links it without accessing the virtual machine. This dashboard provides a clear view of all your mapping rules, allowing you to apply granular protection standards across different local segments based on sources, elements, or objects.
Objects represent the network elements, they are not limited strictly to IP addresses but define the specific type of source making the request.
Top Navigation Tools
At the top of the mapping page, you will find the primary tools for interacting with your configuration list:
Interface Element | Focus & Description |

Search | Located at the top left. Use this tool to perform a search directly on the IP addresses column. |
Filters | Button positioned next to the search bar to filter the visible results. You can apply filters based on three criteria:

+ Add policy mapping | The blue button at the top right. Click here to create a new mapping rule. Click here to add a new policy mapping: New Policy Mapping |
Policy Mapping List Details
The main grid displays the specific details for every mapping rule configured in your system:
Interface Element | Focus & Description |
|---|---|
Type | Indicates the object type. |
IP Address | The specific IP address or range targeted by this mapping rule. |
Selected Cloud Boxes | Displays the list of Cloud Boxes linked to the rule. You can unlink a Cloud Box to eliminate the mapping. |
Associated policy | Indicates the exact policy linked to the specified network elements. |
Actions | Click the pencil icon to edit the configuration, where you can associate or disassociate multiple Cloud Boxes. To delete the mapping, you must first disassociate all linked Cloud Boxes, then click the trash bin icon. |
Initialize Creation
To register a new mapping rule for your local elements, click the blue + Add policy mapping button located in the top right corner. A configuration panel will open.
