Pure Cloud setup mode
After choosing the ISP and WISP Configuration option, you will be prompted to enter your public IP address or a public network range. Any public IP address that sends DNS queries to our hosts will need to be listed and granted as a trusted IP or network. We always suggest configuring both DNS Anycast (185.236.104.104 and 185.236.105.105) to ensure full redundancy. We strongly suggest redirecting any outgoing DNS requests (port 53 UDP and TCP) to the secure DNS of the filter to ensure that no one tries to bypass DNS protection using third-party resolvers. DNS redirection is a simple firewall NAT rule and can be easily implemented by asking the router/gateway administrator. Some routers are also capable of redirecting DNS requests through Layer 7 application control. It is possible to use both techniques. It is possible to use both techniques.
