Routers Configuration
Overview
Configuring your router is the most efficient way to protect your entire network. By updating the primary network gateway, every connected device automatically inherits your filtering policies without requiring individual software installations.
General Configuration Steps
While interfaces vary by manufacturer, the core process remains identical across all hardware.
- Log in to your router admin panel using your administrative credentials.
- Locate the network settings. Look for sections labeled WAN, DHCP, or Internet Setup.
- Replace the existing primary and secondary DNS IP addresses with the Anycast IP addresses.
- Save the configuration changes.
- Restart the router or clear the local DNS cache to enforce the new routing rules immediately.
