Cloud Box
Navigate to the sidebar menu: Deployments > Cloud Box and ensure you are on the Cloud Box tab.
Overview
The Cloud Box section serves as the central control panel for your dedicated infrastructure. This dashboard provides a clear view of all the virtual machines added to the system, allowing you to quickly monitor the operational status, IP addresses, and base rules assigned to each individual Cloud Box.
Minimum VM Requirements
Minimum requirements for networks with a low Query-per-second load:
- CPU: 4 vCPU
- RAM: 8 GB
- Storage: 20 GB
To optimally configure virtual resources on networks with higher DNS traffic and/or additional functions, progressively increase the resources and test the load.
Interface Overview
Top Navigation Tools
At the top of the page, you will find the primary tools for interacting with your machine list:

Refresh Data | Click this button to reload the list and retrieve the latest information from the system. |
Filters | Button positioned next to the search bar to filter the visible results by status. |

Cloud Box List Details
The main grid displays the specific details for every Cloud Box configured in the system:
Interface Element | Focus & Description |

Name | The identifier chosen for the machine. It also displays essential diagnostic information like the firmware version and the date of the last synchronization. |
Public IP | The public IP address used for communication with our datacenters. |
LAN IP | Displays the local IP address assigned to the Cloud Box. It verifies if the machine is correctly synchronizing with the APIs. |
Default policy | This is the catch-all policy applied by default by the users of the Cloud Box for all calls if nothing else is defined. |
Status | Shows the current operational condition of the machine:

Actions | Click the three dots icon to open a contextual menu where you can choose:

Initialize Creation
To register a new Cloud Box in your network, click the blue + Add Cloud Box button located in the top right corner. A configuration panel will open.

Cloud Box Setup and Default Credentials
Activate the Cloud Box and enter the login credentials, which are as follows:
- Login: enter admin and press Enter.
- Password: enter dnsproxy and press Enter to confirm.
NOTE: The password is not displayed because Linux hides it.
Migration and Restart
If you perform a migration to the new platform, you must restart the Cloud Box once the process is complete.
