Filter configuration using Mikrotik OS
Platform has been certified as a "Made for Mikrotik" software platform. It guarantees official recognition and full compatibility on any Router model and OS version!
Setup - Installation is handled by an automatic script that configures content and malware filtering on MikroTik devices. The script also includes DNS redirection rules to prevent users from bypassing the filter by manually changing their DNS resolver.
DNS Redirection - Firewall rules redirect all outbound DNS traffic to platform's DNS servers (185.236.104.104 and 185.236.105.105), regardless of the resolver configured on individual clients. This eliminates the need to change DNS settings on each device in the network, which would be a complex operation in large networks or for ISPs.
Large-scale Provisioning - The configuration can be deployed simultaneously across multiple routers, which is useful for MikroTik distributors and network administrators managing a high number of devices.
API provides a set of APIs that allow integration of the service's features into external portals or systems. Through the API it is possible to retrieve statistical data (blocked websites, traffic by category, detected malware) and programmatically control the main functions of the platform.

Mikrotik O.S. is one of the most used Routers today by our Customers and Partners all over the world. Precisely for this reason, we have created an automatic procedure that allows, in a few clicks, to activate filters on the network, without having to change pre-existing Mikrotik settings.
Therefore, proceed as follows:
- Log in to your Dashboard.
- Open the Networks menu, after which click Add New Network.
- Then select Standard and then on the proceed button.
- Click on Connect your network router then on I have a Dynamic IP and continue.
- Click on I have a Dynamic DNS service and Sincronize with Platform Cloud and continue.
- Click on the Mikrotik logo and select the Mikrotik-public dynamic/static IP option.
- Click Auto Configuration and enter your account password.
- Copy the generated script by clicking Copy script.
PLEASE NOTE: By default the option Add automatic redirection of DNS Queries to Filter is active.
If active it allows you to create additional Firewall rules for the purpose of automatically forwarding DNS traffic to our hosts.
It is recommended that these rules be used, in order to increase security by preventing users from circumventing the filters by changing the DNS on their machine.
- Finally, click on continue to complete the network entry procedure.
- Access Mikrotik through WinBox (recommended) or from the web interface.
- Open the Mikrotik terminal by clicking on the New terminal button, from the list located on the left.
- Paste the previously copied text by pressing the right mouse button and clicking on the paste item.
- To verify the correct synchronization of your IP click Connection test, on the network configuration window located within the Dashboard.
